The song was first written inside a large closet - dark, creaky, and claustrophobic. This aesthetic has been maintained in the production of the verse, that combines with a chorus that opens up with unexpected brightness. The result: a raw and rewarding three minutes of feeling richer, warmer, and more confident.

For half-Trinidadian, half-Hong-Kongese, UK-born, Australian-based artist DUEL NATIVE, the single follows both the success of debut EP, ‘XI’, and his previous project in London-based indie band Greyhound Green, in which they received mainstream-radio play, media coverage on MTV Europe and support acts such as Alabama 3, Tjinder Singh (Cornershop), and The Libertines.
